My Mentoring Experience

Before I became a SBI! Certified Webmaster, I was also a Mentor/Trainer in a mentoring program. Here's some of my previous Site Build It! mentoring experience:
- In 2004, I was selected to be a Mentor/Trainer in a mentoring program called Nitro Incubator, offered by Nitro Marketing. The mentoring program used Site Build It! for their site-building program.
- Helped to build the program and its resources in its early days. We covered all aspects of the SBI! site-building process - from researching and evaluating niches, domain selection, content creation, traffic generation, monetization, and more.
- Created Special Reports, using SiteSell's "Search It!" tool, for initial keyword demand and supply research for the program’s Niche Selection phase. These special reports assisted members with niche research and evaluation of brainstorming results.
- Assisted with many live group training calls, and contributed to the newsletters.
- Helped to develop the program's private membership site, when it was introduced.
- Personally worked with over 25 students, in 8 countries, providing e-mail and phone coaching support services, as they worked through the different stages of building their own SBI! sites.
SBI! Coaching for Travel Sites
I enjoyed working with travel sites, and I've helped several people to get started with theirs.

Since we last worked together, Helen has a new, related site, Tailor Made South Africa Travel -- through SBI!, she's also found her niche in the travel industry. She is now is building a business she truly enjoys, and I'm really happy for her!
Our own travel site is Africa-vacations.com, an Africa Wildlife and Vacations Guide for wildlife enthusiasts and adventure travellers.
Site Build It! Contests
SiteSell sometimes has internal contests, in the SBI! forums, to advertise new launches, or encourage SBIers to share new and different ways to promote Site Build It! They are very popular and competitive contests, so even getting a finalist placement is not easy.
I enjoy the challenges, and learning experiences, of the SBI! contests. These are some of my SBI! Contest Achievements:
- October 2006 - First honourable mention for the Order SBI! contest, for my Where's YOUR Biz? page.
- June 2006 - Gold Prize Winner of the Choose It! contest, with the Planning Vacations page on my AfricanWildlifeVacations site.
- October 2005 - Finalist in the SBI! PREselling contest.
SBI! Coaching Services
I offer SBI! coaching services consultations by e-mail, phone or instant messenger. If you're having difficulty with your SBI! site, you won't need to waste hours searching for answers to your questions. I'll help you to get started, and become familiar with the site-building process.
It's is a more intensive coaching service, useful for new SBIers who would like a deeper understanding of the site-building process and how to use SBI! more effectively, or who are keen to build more than one site.
I'll also share the tips and special resources I use to build our own sites!
